Rose Nail Art

Hello everyone!

Today I want to show you what I'll be wearing on my nails for my spa 'weekend' that I'm going to today with my best friend (courtesy of the other half-he's a good 'un). With the help of Anna from Lush Nails who suggested pink and red, I decided to go for roses as I haven't tried this look yet and I have been dying to.

I followed a tutorial by Sammy at The Nailasaurus to do the roses and I'm pretty happy with how they turned out for my first attempt.

I used NYC 'Penn Station' and 'Murray Hill Mauve', OPI 'My Vampire is Buff', Revlon 'Vixen' (mixed into Penn Station for the darker parts of the roses) and Color Club 'Wild Cactus' for the leaves. I topped it all with Seche Vite and once it had completely dried I added a top coat of Gelish 'Top It Off' to make sure my manicure lasts for a few days.

I love the vintage-style of this look and will definitely be doing roses again now I know they're not too difficult to do.

 Have a great Sunday!
