Tara's Talons Swatches and Review - New 5ml Bottles

*Products in this post were provided for an honest review*

Hi lovely readers!

How are we all? Today I have some exclusive nail polishes from the brilliant UK indie brand, Tara's Talons!
As of 26th July Tara's Talons Etsy store is stocking 5ml bottles of her polish which will be 'one offs'. I have two 'made for me' polishes to show you today! Squeal!

 Nailed by Polish.

Nailed by Polish was a complete dream to work with formula wise. It applied easily in 2 coats and the glitter pay off was amazing. I applied 2 coats of Seche Vite for a completely smooth finish. There is so much going on with this polish! The muted blue/grey base, multi-coloured medium hexes and smaller black hexes, as well as a silver shimmer through there! I really love this polish and the name is pretty cool too, incorporating my blog name! Definitely a nail polish for me.

Danielle's Polish.

First of all...I have an actual nail polish named after me! Lets just take a moment to marvel at that...epic.
Now, Danielle's Polish was a strange one. The glitter flakes in this one were quite settled at the bottom of the bottle when it arrived so I gave it a good shake but it didn't budge too much. However, this wasn't an issue as it gave me this level of glitter coverage that you see here-perfect in my opinion.

Application was great, only needing 2 coats of polish and 2 coats of Seche Vite for smoothy smoothness. The shade of blue is a perfect sky blue shade, really great for summer. The amount of flakies you see here gives the polish a gorgeous shimmer and I really enjoyed wearing this!

After I swatched this, I went about trying to get the glitter to mix a little better and used the brush to stir the polish rather than shake. I swatched again but actually wasn't too keen on the amount of glitter pay off- there was too much of sparkly stuff...sometimes less is more!

Overall, Tara has done herself and the UK indie world proud once again. These polishes really are beautiful and I would definitely recommend them. The 5ml bottles are a great addition to her shop. Prices start at £3.50 for one 5ml bottle (or 2 for £6.00). You can buy Tara's Talons from her etsy shop and she also has a website where you can find lots of information about stockists, reviews and the collections she has already released (feast your eyes!).

As always, there are ways to follow Tara to keep up to date with releases:
