Feather Effect Nail Art plus Tutorial

Hi Lovelies!

So today I have one of my most requested nail art tutorials. I first did the feather nail art look in the Lazy 15 Challenge and since posting the photo on Beautylish, Instagram and She Said Beauty I've been asked many times 'do you have a tutorial'. I finally decided to do one! I've used just one colour for the 'feather effect' but you can use however many colours you want...be creative!

This look is so so easy to do that it kind of feels silly to be doing this tutorial, you'll see why!

You will need:

China Glaze Under the Boardwalk
OPI My Vampire is Buff
Your favourite top coat
A long thin nail art brush
A clean up brush
Acetone for clean up.

Step One.
Apply two coats of My Vampire is Buff and a coat of quick dry top coat.

Step Two.
Dip your nail art brush into Under the Boardwalk and wipe any excess off. Starting at the edge of your nail quickly sweep the polish up towards your cuticle, stopping around half way up your nail. Keep 'sweeping' until the edge of your nail is covered.

Step Three.
Use your clean up brush dipped in acetone to clean up any mess, then add a coat of top coat to seal your nail art.

And that's it! See I told you this was easy. Let me know if I've missed anything or if you want anything clarifying. Have fun!
