A Water Marble Mani and Some Exciting News!

Hello there!!

Wowzers have I had a busy week! I'm gonna cut straight to the chase; not only did I celebrate my Birthday and Easter at the weekend but my amazing boyfriend became my fiance!! I am absolutely over the moon and can not stop staring at my ring. I was going to post earlier this week but I had to get my ring made a little smaller and really wanted to show you guys. I still can't actually believe he proposed as it was a complete surprise. I don't know how I didn't find out as he'd asked my Mum, Dad and Uncle if he could ask me to marry him and had to take my best friend ring shopping! I'm usually pretty good at sniffing out secrets lol. Needless to say, we had some major celebrations at the weekend!

I did a little water marble manicure today which I'm really chuffed with too, despite saying I'd never water marble again lol.

For my ring finger I started with a base of OPI 'My Boyfriend Scales Walls' and water marbled using all OPI polishes in 'Vant to Bite My Neck', 'Can't Find my Czechbook', 'Don't Talk Bach to Me' and 'Kiss Me on My Tulips'. I painted the rest of my nails in 'Vant to Bite My Neck'.

I even managed to do my right hand too! Serious shizzle going down 'ere bro.

Apart from a few water marks I'm really happy with this mani! I think after a bit more practice I may try and do more than one nail per hand lol.
And of course, here's my ring! We haven't set a date yet and have decided to just save our butts off for a year or so...Crazy times people!

So there you have it! What have you guys been up to?!

Oh and great water marble. I'm still going to stick to never trying it again though - far too stressful!
