Barry M Textured Nail Art

Hello there!

Today I have some simple nail art using Barry M Textured Nail Polish in 'Ridley Road' and Barry M Gelly polish in 'Watermelon'.

I liked this simple nail art but I couldn't help but feel a bit weirded out with the texture of the polish. I managed a day wearing it and then felt all 'blaaaahhh get it off me!!' about it. I like the smoothness of regular nail polish much better but applying a top coat to this really doesn't do much for it, unlike the OPI Liquid Sand polishes.

I hope you've all had a great weekend? I went to South Lakes Animal Park with my other half and friends...who says you have to be a kid to enjoy the zoo!?

  2. Ooh, interesting! I must try this. It think it looks quite cool - did you forfeit a top coat? Could imagine that would ruin the effect :)

    1. No I didn't use a top coat for this, it takes away from the texture. I do wish I'd made the Gelly part a few layers thicker so you could really seethe difference in textures. You should definitely try this though, super easy :)
