Happy Friday people. Have you got anything awesome planned for the weekend? Personally I'm having a 'quiet one', times are hard with it being Christmas and all.
I have China Glaze Fairy Dust to show you today. I bought this when I bought the China Glaze Holiday Joy Collection as I thought it looked so much more interesting than 'Glistening Snow' and I'm glad I did.
First up I'll show you the base I used, which was Technic 'Midnight', a beautiful polish in itself that has just been sat on my shelf since I bought it months ago.
This is two coats with no top coat. It's super shiny and I love the metallic finish to it. I get stupidly excited when a random cheap polish turns out to be so amazing on! Don't judge a book by it's cover and all that. I bought this in a set of 16 from Boots (£16.00 if you're interested) and I have to say I'm impressed with them all.
Here's Fairy Dust getting involved with a coat of Seche Vite (*warning* moments after I took these photos I experienced my first shrinkage. Make sure to wrap your tips up good and proper!) I used one coat of Fairy Dust for the following photos as I personally think less is more for this polish.
I had a play around and tried it over a few different shades too; Revlon 'Black Lingerie', Color Club 'Red-ical Gypsy', Fearne Cotton Teal Green (no actual name) and Barry M 'Blue Moon'.
Artificial light was used here due to epic crap weather in the north of England.
There you have it. What do you think of Fairy Dust?
