If you follow me on Twitter you'll have seen my major annoyance at having to chop all my nails off down to nubs. I was so annoyed I was contemplating not blogging for a few weeks until they'd grown out. Then I gave myself a slap and told myself to 'man up!'. They're just nails and they will grow back. It really isn't the be all and end all. So I'm now trying to embrace the nubbins with some New Year nail art.
Unfortunately I'll be in the office over the celebrations but that's no reason why I should ignore it all together, so I decided to do another skittle mani.
I used a base of Revlon 'Black Lingerie' and the following (deep breaths):
Thumb: One coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust
Index Finger: Glitter gradient using Rimmel Precious Stones in Diamond Dust (not my best effort in a glitter gradient but cute none-the-less)
Middle Finger: Dots using W7 Silver
Ring Finger: One coat of NYC Rock Muse Smoky Top Coat
Pinky: Stamped BM Plate 220 using W7 Silver
all topped off with a coat of Seche Vite.
I quite like this mani. It's not as neat and tidy as I'd have hoped but I'm blaming that on the fact I painted these in bed haha. I also need to use more of the Rimmel precious stones as I really like it despite the way I've not really shown it off here. Rimmel also have a red version called 'Ruby Crush' which I've picked up no less than 3 times but never actually bought-I should fix that pronto!
I just want to take this opportunity *stands up to the mic* to thank you all so much for reading my blog and following me! You've all made me feel really welcome in this crazy world and I can't thank you enough. 2012 has been a bit of a strange year for me, lots of ups and downs along the way and I'm really looking forward to a fresh start, but blogging has definitely been one of the best things I've done. I really enjoy speaking to so many of you through twitter, facebook and instagram and I personally think you're all the bestest :D.
I hope you all have a fab New Year's Eve whatever you will be doing!
Live, laugh and love!!
