The Lazy 15 Challenge Day 2

Hello readers!

Today is day 2 of the Lazy 15 Challenge and it calls for a gradient design.
I actually enjoy doing gradients, it can refresh a tired looking mani really quickly and the colour choices are endless. However, for me that's the problem; I can never decide on a combo!
I originally had one ready for today from a couple of weeks ago but I wasn't entirely happy with my colours so I did another this morning. I think these shades are much more fitting for the autumny/flipping freezing weather we're having at the minute.

I used OPI Every Month is Oktoberfest and Essie Lollipop.

For me, the one bad thing about today's mani was that I couldn't get the application I really wanted due to my lack of appropriate tools! I usually use eyeshadow applicators for gradients as I find it sooo much easier, but I ran out and had to use a piece of sponge which took me a lot longer to get a decent effect. I know you should never blame your tools but I am, so there.

Overall though I'm pretty happy with today's mani and I can't wait to see what the rest of the peeps have come up with!

  1. Gorgeous! I can never decided on a colour combo for gradients either, there's just so many options and I want to do them all. I really love the colours you have used x

  2. So beautiful!! :) You got a really seamless gradient even though you didn't have the right tools :) I can never decide on a combo either LOL but you did a really awesome job :)

  3. Beautiful!! If eye shadow applicators get you better than this I'm getting some tomorrow!!

  4. These look positively lickable! Seems like Essie named the polish aptly ;-)
I also have eye shadow applicators in my nail kit, for Galaxy nails they are perfect x

  5. This mani is amazing!!! Love the colors!! I got my first Essie polishes and had to try them out right away for this challenge!! Love them!!!

  6. This is really pretty and I love the colors you've chosen!

  7. so pretty love the colours they look so lush together :) xx
